Great location, but be careful entering the lodge, depending on the direction, it’s a cutback into the driveway. Room was nice, view from the deck was amazing! I wish we weren’t on longer trip and could have stayed longer.

14 of us spent the weekend at Firefly Lodge to celebrate a Penn State graduation.  We had one minor issue and within 10 minutes of making them aware, they were fixing our issue. Beautiful lodge, fantastic views and a great staff!! It’s also worth it for the indoor pool!! I will definitely be looking for other dates to stay with Rough Cut Lodge!!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable in a great location on Pine Creek.  Our suite had a well equipped kitchen and gas fireplace.  Hope to return to enjoy the amenities this property provides. I’ve been booking trips at the Rough Cut Lodge since about 1998, sometimes twice a year, with friends and family. The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, ATVs, sight seeing, or simply relaxing. This was a wonderful place to stay.  Very convenient to places to eat and the town of Wellsboro. Even closer to both sides of the gorge. Room was clean and felt cozy. The grounds are beautiful and you can walk along the creek.

We visited Rough Cut Lodge for a weekend in April.   Staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful.  The accommodations are excellent.  Peaceful getaway with outstanding views and plenty of activities.  Don’t worry about the weather - the welcome center has a pool table and games for the indoor time.  Overall wonderful time, we are repeat visitors.
